You may be a snow bunny, but Revelstoke still boasts plenty of awesomeness in the Summer months. If you love to experience cabins, lakes, and all things “cottage country”, Revelstoke is just the place for you this Summer.
WHITE WATER RAFTING
Get ready to get wet! The Illecillewaet River is a glacier-fed river that runs from Glacier National Park and goes through the Selkirk Mountains and into the Columbia River. From mid-June until Mid-July you can experience high water rapids, while in late July you can experience calmer waters.
If you are here in Revelstoke long enough, you can experience both aspects of the Illecillewaet, and we know you’ll love it.
PADDLEBOARDING
One of the beauties of Revelstoke in the Summer is the number of bodies of water that are available to you. We have small lakes and rivers to dive right into.
One of the more popular things to do during the Summer months is Stand-Up paddleboarding. This impact-free activity works the entire body. You would be amazed at the workout!
CANOEING & KAYAKING
Another non-impact sport you can partake in on the water is canoeing and kayaking. Rentals are available so leave yours at home!
Whether you decide to go solo or go out with a partner, this activity is quite serene. Go your own pace and paddle as slow or as hard as you wish!

Our Geo Glamping Domes are only one year old, but they are still a novelty that is highly requested.
Truly a life outdoors, these domes come equipped with one Queen-Sized or King-Sized bed, and a half-bath, it’s the simple life in its truest form. The skylight above the bed means you’ll fall asleep and the last thing you see is the stars in the sky.
As a thank you for being our guest, we do have toiletries available to you. We have partnered with a local company to bring you some of our local shampoos and conditioners, as well as we have earplugs available for your sleeping comfort.
It is wise to note that the Geo Glamping Domes do not have showers. For this purpose, we do have public showers available to you.
One of our stand-out moments is each one of our log cabins. Each cabin has its own “flare”, being uniquely decorated and not like the other. Every detail is meticulously planned, and we highly recommend you stay in each one to get the full BMR experience. That means you must come back to us over and over again!
Sometimes, it does get cool overnight, even in the summer. For those nights, we invite you to enjoy our covered outdoor hot tub. It’s just an added bonus to your Summer vacation!
The best part about this Summer, in particular June 2023, is BMR’s Pet Appreciation Month. All month long, you and your fur baby will get to enjoy plenty of love from us, which includes:
