WORLD CLASS Skiing and Snowboarding

Revelstoke is legendary for being powder paradise. With an average snowfall of 10.5 meters (34.4ft) you will experience some of the best snow conditions of your life. Home to many different heli, cat and resort skiing venues you can expect epic powder stashes and amazing backcountry terrain surrounding Revelstoke.

Ski the most vertical in North America at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, at 1,713 metres (5,620’). RMR boasts a great variety of skiing, with groomed runs, gladed tree runs, double black diamond expert runs, a terrain park that grows every year and easy access side country. Take the Last Spike to ski a 17km run, sure to get those legs burning. Sign up for First Tracks to load the lower gondola at 7:45am and get 45 minutes of fresh terrain before the public joins you. Take a lesson at their well-established ski school or better your skills in their 2 beginner areas.

When it’s time to rest the legs, grab a burger and a beer and take in the spectacular scenery at the top of the gondola, or rest for a full lunch menu at the Mid Mountain lodge and satisfy your thirst with their selection of local beer. Revelstoke Cat Skiing is only moments away from Boulder Mountain Resort. Experience post-card views while being shuttled by a snowcat back to the top of the mountain to start another run while ready and warm. Want to get in touch with winter nature while blasting down mountains with fresh powder? Look no further. Revelstoke Backcountry Touring is the an experience of a lifetime with only moderate winter temperatures. Revelstoke hosts both world renown mountain ranges, the Monashees and the Selkirks.

SnowMOBILING

Revelstoke is known for its world class snowmobiling and staying at Boulder Mountain Resort means access is right across the street. Boulder Mountain has some of the best sledding in Canada and boasts an abundance of powder, large terrain, and a combination of beginner and expert level tree runs. Six days a week they groom over 50km of trails for easy access. Take a break and dry your gear at the Boulder Mountain Cabin located at 1650m (5400ft), warm up by the fire, relax on the covered deck or buy lunch off the BBQ on site. Trail fees are $25 paid at the toll booth at the entrance. From the convenience of the Boulder Mountain trails you can easily gain access to Turtle Mountain, a favourite for the more advanced rider.
